Changes In Work Permission Application for visa granted on or after 26 Aprill 2008, READ HERE

BELOW is For student who get Student Visa before 26 April 2008 

Actually, working is not allowed because of the “Visa Condition 8101 No Work” when you get the visa in Myanmar. You need to apply for that as soon as you arrived to Australia. For applying, First, you need to talk with your school to inform Immigration Office that you have started you course in the education provider (school). After your school informing, you can apply for changing Visa Condition 8101 to “8105 Work Limitation” either online or paper application at immigration office. Online application seem to be faster than paper application. Generally, it takes about 2 weeks and that will cost AUD60.

After that they will inform to come back to office and they will change your visa page. In the new visa page there will be the condition 8105 will allow you to work 20 hours per week in the school time and no condition for school holidays. (Weekends are not assumed as school holidays in the school time.)
